He is a consultant psychiatrist who did all his psychiatric training in London. He worked for 29 years in the NHS. He has been a consultant since 2006. He is on the GMC specialist register. His GMC number is 4150590.
He also treats the mental health disorders that can arise through speech difficulties. He has himself overcome a severe childhood stammer. He is a member of STAMMA.
He has also trained in Acupuncture that can be used for mental health disorders. He is a member of the Chinese Medical Institute and Register. He is a member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society.
